Sydney: Collybum making class at the Parish of Agios Savvas in Kalymnostranslated

In the Parish of Agios Savvas the Younger in Kalymnos, in Sydney, on the evening of Friday, August 21, expatriates of the second and third generation had the opportunity to learn from the Priestly Superior, Father Savvas Pisania, how the holy huts for the sleeping are prepared, participating in a special, specialized seminar-workshop. In this way, the children and young people of the second and third generation of Greek immigrants, as well as other Orthodox believers, learn and preserve the sacred traditions and the precious legacies of the Orthodox faith and Greek tradition.
The successful organization of the previous seminar on the preparation of prophoros was the reason for the continuation of this beautiful initiative, this time with a specialized seminar, dedicated to the preparation of collybos for the sleeping.
It is worth pointing out that the Parish of Agios Savvas offers free participation in the seminars, as well as all the necessary materials to the participants, effectively contributing to the preservation and transmission of the Orthodox tradition to the younger generations.
