Holy Vigil for the upcoming feast of the Dormition of the Virgin Mary will be celebrated on the evening of Friday August 14th until dawn on Saturday August 15th 2026 in the Agiorite Metochi of the Assumption of the Holy Monastery of Simonos Petra in Byron (G. Gennimata 5 & St. Ieronymos Simonopetritou). START: Friday August 14th 20.00

AFTER vigil: 1.15

On Saturday morning (15.08) there will be no second Liturgy.

Thanks for the message. I will write down the address — G. Hennimatá 5, because I want to go to this farm on August 14. In our church, they also always serve all-night service on the Assumption, but it is interesting to visit the Athos methos.

Thanks for the exact address, G. Gennimata 5 and Ag. Ieronymou Simonopetritou. I've been to Simonos Petra's Metochi before and the vigil there is really long and concentrated - until 1:15 a.m. is fine. I'll think about going there on August 14th, as here in Berlin the celebration falls on a Friday evening.
