Sunday Discipleship: God in ustranslated

Usually referring to God we mean him either opposite or next to or above or in the Churches and the holy pilgrimages. But here comes the Apostle Paul with his Second Letter to the Corinthians, pointing out that God is within us and each one constitutes a holy Church with God himself as the exclusive occupant. This fact has, as is natural, specific consequences, mainly alienation from everything that is incompatible and cannot coexist with God, psychosomatic purity and the constant struggle for sanctification. In this way, everyone is adopted by God and lives in a permanent communion with him, Apostolos Nicolaidis, Emeritus Professor of Theology at EKPA & President of the Institute "Agios Maximos the Greek", tells us in the show "Sunday Apprenticeship".

That bit from St Paul in 2 Corinthians always hits me when I’m driving between deliveries — we really are walking churches. Makes me think twice about what I let into my mind and body during the week. Thanks for sharing the talk, I’ll check the video after the kids are in bed.
