Historic participation in the elections of OM.S.I.E. – Formation of the new Board of Directors in a Housetranslated

With complete success, exemplary order and unprecedented, historic participation, the electoral and administrative procedures for the selection of the new administrative bodies of the Federation of Chanters Associations of Greece (OM.S.I.E.) were completed. This year's electoral contest registered an impressive organizational development and universal gathering of the hymn world in relation to the past.

Specifically:

· Club Participation: From 7 participating clubs in 2023, representation jumped to 19 Clubs in 2026, a dramatic increase of 171%.

· Number of Electors: From 16 electors in 2023, participation reached 41 electors in 2026, registering an increase of 131%.

Based on the final results of the Electoral Committee and the order of ranking, the new 11 members of the Board of Directors met on Tuesday, October 6, 2026 at the Federation's offices in Athens, following the invitation of the first majority voting councilor, Mr. Fotiou - Angelos Mandalos.

During the meeting, which was held with the prescribed statutory quorum for live and remote participation, the new Board of Directors was officially constituted in a House with the following composition for the next three years:

I’m glad for my Greek colleagues; growth from 7 to 19 companies is serious. We also have enough problems with choirs in Russia, I wonder how they will now work with such a large council. Good luck to them for three years.
