Rhodes celebrated the Nativity of the Virgintranslated

According to local traditions and the massive participation of the faithful, our holy Metropolis celebrated the first feast of the Theotokos liturgical cycle, the Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin on Tuesday, September 8, 2026. In the holy Genesiou Monastery of the Theotokos Tsampikas, the solemn Vespers was presided over by His Eminence, who preached the divine word. The following day, the Most Holy Bishop of Olympus, Mr. Kyrillos, officiated at Orthros and celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the above-mentioned holy Monastery.
In the holy Monastery of Skiadio, the solemn Vespers was officiated by the Most Reverend Bishop of Jindza and Eastern Uganda, Mr. Silvestros. On the main day of the Feast, our Most Reverend Metropolitan, co-celebrant of Saint Theophilus of Jintzas, presided over the Orthros and presided over the Divine Liturgy.
