Every Sunday Divine Liturgy at the Agrinio Park Chapeltranslated

Residents of the town of Agrinio will have one more opportunity to participate in the Divine Liturgy from the first Sunday of October.

From Sunday, October 4, 2026 and every Sunday, in the Holy Chapel of the Transfiguration of Christ the Saviour, which belongs to the Holy Metropolitan Church of Zoodochos Pigis and is located in the Papastrateio Municipal Park of Agrini, the Orthros and the Divine Liturgy will be celebrated, from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. in the morning.

The well-known and beloved Little Church of the Park thus acquires a more stable position in the Sunday liturgical life of the Church, offering the faithful another place to pray and participate in the Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist.

In the special natural environment, in the tranquility and greenery of the Papastratio Municipal Park, in a place connected to the history and memories of many generations of Agriniots, the Holy Chapel of the Transfiguration of the Savior will invite the faithful to participate in the Divine Liturgy every Sunday morning.
