In this narration, Christ is confronted with the inability of His Disciples to heal the child and exclaims: "O faithless and perverse generation". When His Disciples ask the reason for their failure, the Lord's answer is clear: "Because of your unbelief." And he adds that if they had faith as small as a grain of mustard seed, they could even move mountains.
The Importance of Faith and Our Spiritual Weapons The Apostle Matthew reminds us that faith is not a passive ideology, but a living, dynamic relationship with God. It is the quality and authenticity of our trust in the Divine Will.
