Night vigil of the Holy Church of Saints Kyprian and Justin in Symitranslated

With special ecclesiastical splendor and spiritual joy, on Thursday October 1, 2026, the Tyranoixia of the Holy Church of Saints Kyprian and Justina, which was founded as a tribute to the honored Saints in the Drakunda area of Symi, was celebrated on a privately owned property of the Family of Eleftheriou Mylonakis and Annis Kalliarou. The Holy Mass was presided over by the Metropolitan of Symi, Tilos, Chalkis and Kastellorizos, Mr. Chrysostomos, flanked by the Theophilist Assistant Bishop of Rodostolo, Mr. Antonios, the Holy Clergy of the island, in the presence and participation of the venerable Family of the Builders, the Mayor of Symi, Mr. Eleftherios Papakalodoukas, representatives of the local Authorities and a multitude of pious and Saint-loving Christians. The Tyranoixian Service, rich in symbolism and spiritual depth, moved the numerous attendees, who flocked to receive the blessing of the Saints, to join in praying at this historic moment for our local Church and to honor the Family of the Founders.
