The celebration of Agia Paraskevi in the I. Metropolis of Mantineia and Kynouriatranslated

The memory of Saint Osioparthenomartyr Paraskevi of Athliphoros was celebrated with splendor in the Holy Metropolis of Mantineia and Kynouria. The Most Reverend Metropolitan of Mantineia and Kynouria, Mr. Epifanios, on the eve of the feast, officiated during the solemn Vespers at the homonymous celebratory Holy Church of Agia Paraskevi in ​​Livadi of the Municipality of South Kynouria, flanked by a multitude of priests from the surrounding area.

In his sermon, the Metropolitan referred to the life of the celebrated Saint, but also to her steadfast faith in Christ.

Afterwards, a Sacred Procession of the Holy Icon of the Saint was performed in the main streets of the village for the blessing of the residents, accompanied by the Philharmonic of the Municipality of South Kynouria.
