The grand charity Concert of the Holy Metropolis of Patrastranslated

Thousands of Patrons and others attended the charity concert of the Holy Diocese of Patras, which took place on Monday, September 2, 2026, at the Pamploponnisian Stadium of Patras, in collaboration with the Holy Diocese of Patras and the Region of Western Greece.

The program was presented by the artists Kaiti Garbi and her husband Dionysios Schoinas.

At the beginning the Reverend Metropolitan of Patras Mr. Chrysostomos spoke, who mentioned the purpose of the concert and thanked the Regional Governor Mr. Nektarios Farmakis for the help and support of the work of love of the Holy Metropolis, the Artists, the Priests and the Ecclesiastical Councils and the wonderful People of Patras who support every project of the Holy Metropolis.

"We are all one family", emphasized His Holiness.

To the two Artists, he respectively offered holy icons of the Virgin Mary and the Apostle Andrew.

It is a good thing when the metropolitan and the periphery work together. I see that Kaita Garbi and her husband were singing, and Bishop Chrysostomos thanked everyone and also presented icons. Well done to the people of Patryn who came by the thousands and support such works.

It's nice that Metropolitan Chrysostomos gave the icons of the Virgin Mary and St. Andrew to the artists. And the slogan "we are all one family" stuck with me, because here in Michalovci, we also feel that way when something is done for charity. Too bad I wasn't there, I would have liked to hear Kaíti Garbi live.
