The Archpastor of America Demetrios Honors the Feast of His Predecessor, Archbishop Elpidophorostranslated

The Holy Archdiocese of America announces that the annual celebration for the name days of the Most Reverend Archbishop of America, Archbishop Elpidophoros, will take place on Monday, November 2, 2026, at 6 p.m. at Pier 60 in Manhattan. Archbishop Elpidophoros dedicates this annual celebration to the late Metropolitan Demetrios, honoring his life and ministry and inviting the faithful of the Holy Archdiocese of America to gather and express their gratitude toward a man who dedicated his life to Christ, His Church, and God's people.

Speaking about his decision to honor his predecessor annually, Archbishop Elpidophoros stated: "Metropolitan Demetrios dedicated his entire life to serving Christ and His Church.
