Events for the 100th anniversary of the founding of the M.G.S. "Meliteus"translated

On the morning of Saturday, September 19, the Metropolitan of Thessaloniki, Mr. Filotheos, officiated and preached the divine word, in the Holy Chapel of Agios Ioannis Prodromos, within the courtyard of the Papal Foundation.

Before the dismissal, His Eminence, together with the concelebrating clergy, performed the Memorial Service of the late national benefactor Ioannis Papafis and all the sleeping food and workers of Papafiots, in the presence of the living Papafiots and a crowd of people, in front of the bust of Ioannis Papafis.
