Holy Supplication to the Holy Monastery of Osias Irini Igoumenis of the Monastery of Chrysovalantos, Farsalatranslated

With the Virgin Mary at the center of prayer and spiritual life, the period of the Holy Prayers in the Holy Churches came to an end on the evening of Thursday, August 13, with the Holy Prayer to the Most Holy Theotokos at the Holy Monastery of Osias Irini Abbess of the Monastery of Chrysovalantos, Farsala. The Holy Supplication, as pointed out, is not a prayer habit that is limited only to the days of the Fifteenth of August. However, recourse to Her cannot remain only an external habit, but needs to be accompanied by a substantial change in lifestyle.

At this point the distinction between "ethos" and "ethos" was highlighted. The first concerns the habit of praying to the Virgin Mary, while the second presupposes doctrine, character and life in accordance with the will of Christ. The invocation of the Virgin Mary acquires an essential content when man tries to live in the Church, to follow Her example and shape his life according to the Gospel.
