The Diocese of Thessaloniki hosted a meal for students of the Theological School of Balamadtranslated

At noon on Thursday, July 9, the Pastor, Metropolitan of Thessaloniki, Mr. Philotheos, hosted a lunch for students of the Theological School of Balamad of the Patriarchate of Antioch, who, with the care of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Greece, the Theological School of A.P.Th. and of the Holy Metropolis of Thessaloniki are in our city as part of a Greek language learning program. The students' escort and Director of the Theological School, Archim. Damaskinos, professors of the School and Fr. Damaskinos Petikas, head of the G.F.T. of the Metropolis and Head of the Pilgrimage Church of Agios Dimitrios the Patron Saint.

The atmosphere was pleasant, indicative of the loving relationship between the local Church of Thessalonica and the brothers in Christ from Syria and Lebanon, who during the last period of time are experiencing extremely difficult situations.
