Triarchate Divine Liturgy at the celebration of I.M. Agia Marina Vonitranslated

A multitude of believers gathered again this year from all over Crete to the Holy Pilgrimage of Agia Marina in Voni to honor the memory of the Saint, which was celebrated during the two days of July 16 and 17, 2026. On July 16, the eve of the feast of the Saint Great Martyr Marina, celebrated by her homonymous Holy Monastery in Voni Pediados, the Great Solemn Vespers of the feast was held, presided over by the Reverend Metropolitan of Lampi, Syvritos and Sfakeia, Mr. Joakim, and concelebrated by Reverend Metropolitans of Thessaloniki Mr. Filotheou and Mr. Andreou of Arkalochori.

The Metropolitan, Mr. Philotheos, addressed to the large congregation a timely speech, referring to Christ, but also to the life and the miracles performed daily and continuously by Saint Marina, with the mercy of our Christ.

Before the dismissal, they were honored with the medal of Saint Marina and Saint Andrew, Archbishop of Crete of Jerusalem, for their valuable support, both financial and material, to the Solidarity Center of our Metropolis, the Hellenic Red Cross, the Mitsis Hotels Group, the Sklavenitis Supermarket
