In Caterine, the Hierarchal Archontariki – At the Heart of Orthodox Mission Work in Tanzaniatranslated

On Monday evening, September 21st, a large crowd gathered at the family center "Pierida" in Caterine for the Hierarchal Archontariki organized by the Hierarchal Shelter Saint Dionysios en Olympus.

The event was an opportunity to inform and sensitize about Orthodox mission work, with particular emphasis on the efforts being made in Tanzania, as well as the ongoing needs.

The Beginning of the Event The event was opened by Abbot Maximus, Archimandrite of the Holy Monastery Saint Dionysios en Olympus, who welcomed the attendees and spoke about the importance of Hierarchal work and the practical support of the Church's work.

Following this, the homily was given by Abbot Ephraim, Superior of the Great Monastery of Vatopedi Saint Egoria. He addressed the theme "Longing for Christ."

Through his sermon, he spoke about the relationship between man and Christ and the importance of spiritual seeking, giving the event a strong spiritual character.
