With the participation of a large number of pilgrims from all over Crete, the anniversary of the Opening of the Holy Pilgrimage Church of Saint Nikiforos the Leper, in his birthplace, Syrikari Kissamos, was celebrated. Vespers was officiated by Rev. Our Metropolitan Mr. Amfilochios, who in his speech mentioned among other things: "The joyous and blessed anniversary of the holy Inauguration of this holy pilgrimage Church, dedicated to our Blessed and God-bearing father Nikephoros the Leper, brought us all to this holy and holy place. May this holiday be blessed in Sirikari. I read how that church from an impassable place became a real "κολυμβήθρα του Σιλωάμ" and it really touched me - people come from all over and find comfort. Thank you to Bishop Amfilohi for the nice sermon, especially for pointing out that in Father Nicephorus there was one virtue from which all the others flowed.

I agree, Zoran, that part about "koliμβήθρα του Σιλωάμ" was very well said by Bishop. Here in Niš, we have a similar story with a small chapel that, from being neglected, became a place where people come for healing. What do you think is the main virtue of Father Nicephorus from which everything else flows?
