School consecrations in Marousi by the Metropolitan of Kifissiatranslated

Today, Friday September 11, 2026, the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Kifissia, Amarousiou, Oropou and Marathon, Mr. Kyrillos, visited two schools of the Diocese of Kifissia, in order to perform the customary Consecration for the beginning of the school year. First, he went to the 5th Amarousi High School. Addressing the students, His Eminence read his Message for the beginning of the school year and wished good progress and strength to teachers and students.

Then he went to the 8th High School of Amarousi "I AGIA FILOTHEI". The Member of Parliament B1 Northern Sector of Athens Mrs. Zoi Rapti, the Deputy Regional Governor of the Northern Sector Mrs. Margarita Varsou, Deputy Mayors and Municipal Councilors of the Municipality of Amarousi and Representatives of Local Bodies were present. Then, addressing the students, His Holiness read his Message for the beginning of the school year and wished for God's illumination.

At the end, the High School Principal, on behalf of the teachers and students, presented His Holiness with an honorary plaque, expressing the gratitude of the school community for his help and support at the school.
