The Minister of Education of Syria met with the Patriarch of Antiochtranslated

The Minister of Education, Dr. Mohammed Abd al-Rahman Tarko, met with His Beatitude the Patriarch of Antioch, Mr. Ioannis and Dr. Nuar Najma, member of the People's Council. His meeting was about the role of education and training in shaping the individual and society, as well as strengthening national and moral values. The Minister of Education confirmed that the Ministry is working to provide education to every Syrian child, alongside the attention given to the upbringing and strengthening of values ​​and positive attitudes in students, pointing out that the Ministry will work, from the beginning of the next school year, to activate activity rooms in schools to contribute to the development of values ​​and behavior of students.

In turn, the Patriarch, during the meeting, praised the role played by the Ministry of Education in building the education system in Syria, stressing the importance of learning and education for the formation of man and the strengthening of social cohesion.
