The Vespers of Agios Ioannis Vrachoritos in Agriniotranslated

At the Vespers service of the feast of St. John the New Martyr martyred in Vrahori, on the afternoon of Tuesday, September 22, 2026, the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Aetolia and Acarnania, Mr. Damascinos, officiated. Vespers was held in the homonymous Holy Chapel of the Saint, which has been erected at the place of his martyrdom, under the plane tree where he was beheaded by the Turks on September 23, 1814, near the majestic Church of Agios Dimitrios Agrini.
