Thanks to Bishop Tamisos for the grant of a Chapeltranslated

On August 19, 2026, His Grace Bishop Panaretos, Patriarchal Exarch of Lithuania, met with the head of the Markutsiai Palace and historian, Dr. Mingailė Jurkutė. During the meeting, His Holiness expressed his warm thanks for the opportunity provided to the Orthodox Community to hold its services and pray in the Chapel of Saint Barbara the Great Martyr, which is located on the premises of the Markoutsiai Palace. At the same time, he expressed his gratitude for the cordial cooperation and continuous support in matters of common interest.

Afterwards, the two sides exchanged views on the prospects for further cooperation, while joint initiatives and plans that can be developed in the future were also discussed.
