Foreign Minister Haris Theoharis visited the Archbishop of Cyprustranslated

A two-day visit to Cyprus, with a program of successive high-level meetings, was carried out on the two days of September 14-15, 2026 by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, responsible for External Affairs and Economic Diplomacy, Haris Theocharis. Among other things, Mr. Theoharis had a conversation with the Archbishop of Cyprus Mr. George. Mr. Theoharis emphasized that: "I had the special honor of meeting with Archbishop George and discussing the timeless bond between Greece and Cyprus, but also the role of the Church in society."

Finally, Mr. Theoharis paid tribute to the Imprisoned Monuments and the Tomb of Makedonitissa.
