Excursion in Pieria from Participants of the 18th Theological Scientific Symposium of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH)translated

On Thursday, September 24, an all-day excursion was organized in Pieria as part of the 18th Theological Scientific Symposium, which was organized by the Department of Theology of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) and the Antonianum University of Rome. In the framework of the 18th Symposium, with the theme "Christian faith in a multicultural environment" (22-24 September), participants included as organizers the Church of Greece, the Holy Metropolitanate of Thessaloniki, the Holy Metropolitanates of Neapolis and Stavropoleos, as well as various academic institutions of AUTH. The opening of the Symposium was hosted at the Great Church Hall of the Holy Metropolitanate of Thessaloniki, while its sessions were held in the facilities of AUTH.

In the framework of the program, an excursion to Pieria was organized for the participants. The symposium had the opportunity to visit important religious and historical monuments of the region through a special cultural itinerary.
