The feast of Agios Panteleimonos at the Holy Monastery of Agios Nikolaos in Imerovigliotranslated

On Monday, July 27, the feast of the Holy Glorious Great Martyr and Healer Panteleimon, the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Thira, Amorgos and Islands Mr. Amfilochios officiated at Orthros and celebrated the Mystery of the Divine Liturgy at the Holy Monastery of Agios Nikolaos Imeroviglio, Thira. The Holy Monastery particularly honors the memory of Saint Panteleimon, as it keeps a valuable and large piece of his holy relic, which was placed for worship for the spiritual strengthening and blessing of pious pilgrims.
During his sermon, His Holiness referred to the person of Saint Panteleimon as a "Healing" Saint, pointing out that his healing grace is the fruit of the living presence of God's grace in the life of the Church.
