George of Thebes in the Camps on Parnassostranslated

The operation of the Camp of the Metropolis of Thebes, Levadeia and Avlis on Parnassos began on Friday, July 3, 2026 with the Primary School boys, the first camp period. On the first day, a Consecration was performed by the Most Reverend Pastor Mr. George, with the participation of all the young campers, executives and staff of the Camp. His Holiness spoke to the children about the experiences they will have at the camp through group life and getting to know other children, living close to nature but also getting to know the devotional life of our Church and wished them a good stay. Afterwards, His Eminence participated in the meal together with the children and staff of the Camp.

On Sunday, July 5, all the children of the Camp, accompanied by the staff, went to church in the Holy Monastery of Jerusalem. The Divine Liturgy was celebrated by the Most Reverend Pastor Mr. George and parents and siblings of the young campers and believers of the area participated, while Camp officials sang.

After the Liturgy, at the Monastery and then at the Camp, His Holiness had the opportunity to communicate with the parents of the little ones...
