M. Charakopoulos: Children, mere assimilation with modern technology is not enoughtranslated

"The school constitutes the basic foundation of all social functions and the primary field of shaping the personality of young people. These two goals must be interrelated, which requires high-level teaching, adapted to the demands of our era, but also fostering ethical models and principles."

The above statement was made by the General Secretary of the Parliamentary Group of New Democracy, MP of Larissa, Mr. Maximos Charakopoulos, on the occasion of the start of the school year.

The Thessalonian politician also emphasized in his statement that "the resources each student and studentess receives during their school period are the basis upon which they will build their future life. For this reason, they must make full use of the knowledge provided by their teachers and professors, but also develop their critical thinking. For this reason, they should know that while assimilation with modern technology is certainly useful, especially in our era, it is not enough on its own. Many times, despite all its impressive capabilities, it can lead to the opposite and limit the assimilation of knowledge."
