Tamasou Isaiah: The greatest miracle that God desires is the transformation of the hearttranslated

With special spiritual joy, the celebratory Vespers was celebrated in the celebratory Holy Church of Saints Riginos and Orestes in the community of Aplikios, of the Holy Metropolis of Tamasos and Orini, under the patronage of the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Tamasos and Orini, Mr. Isaia. In his speech, His Holiness referred to the life and confession of Saints Riginos and Orestes, who, according to church tradition, were students of Saint Herakleides, the first Bishop of Tamasos, and worked for the spread of the Gospel in Cyprus.

He emphasized that the first message of the holiday is steadfastness in faith and the courageous testimony of Christ amidst the difficulties of every age. "Faith is not just words, nor a habit that we inherited from our ancestors. It is a way of life," he emphasized, calling on believers to remain close to Christ even when circumstances test them.

His Holiness also referred to the modern trials of man, such as violence, injustice, financial insecurity, family crisis, loneliness and distance from God, noting that the Saints teach us not to despair, but to trust in God's grace.…

Thank you, Bishop Isaiah. I especially liked that faith is not just words or a habit from our ancestors, but a way of life. We in Voronezh also have enough of these modern trials - loneliness and problems in families. It is good that Saints Reginus and Orestes remind us: hold on to Christ and do not despair.
