Интересно, а зачем именно Титос и Иоаким поехали в Синод? Что-то важное обсуждают или это обычный визит?

I think it's a regular report visit, like the Cretan metropolitans periodically do at Fanar. Titos from Gortyna and Joakim from Chania are people with seniority, they probably took the parish files and annual budgets. Anyway, good to go, that's how the direct link is kept.
