Exhibition on: "The School Life of Syki"translated

The Cultural Association of Sykis "Georgios Ramatisides", in co-organization with Magneton Kivoto - for the rescue of the cultural reserve, organizes on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at 8:00 pm, in the courtyard of the former Primary School of Sykis, an event on the theme "The School Life of Sykis". During the event, there will be an exhibition with old school objects, photos, books, notebooks and other relics that highlight the history of education in the village and evoke memories from school years.

The program includes a greeting by the President of the Association, a speech by Dr. Apostolos Zacharos, Director of the 8th High School of Volos, on the topic "The history of the school of Sykis", stories and testimonies of old and new teachers, an experiential discussion with old students, an activity by the young students of the village with readings from old textbooks, as well as the awarding of commemorative awards to the teachers who served at Sykis Elementary School.

The evening will end with a free tour of the exhibition and a traditional treat.
