The Dormition of Saint Anne in the Holy Metropolis of Corinthtranslated

On Friday, July 24, 2026, the eve of the Feast of the Dormition of Saint Anne, the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Corinth Mr. Pavlos officiated at the Great Vespers, flanked by Clergy of the Holy Metropolis. On the morning of Saturday, July 25, 2026, the day of the feast, His Eminence officiated at the Solemn Orthro and then performed the High Priestly Divine Liturgy in the celebratory Holy Church.

By order of His Eminence, Panos preached the divine word. Chief Fr. Iosif Koutsouris, who referred to the person of Saint Anna the Theoprophet and the reasons that qualified her to become the mother of the Most Holy Theotokos, serving the plan of the Divine Economy for the salvation of man.

At the end of the Divine Liturgy, His Eminence wished the Priests of the Holy Temple, the Ecclesiastical Council and the devout congregation that Saint Anne would be an ambassador to the Lord to grant health, strength, spiritual progress and every good blessing to all families.
