The feast of Saints Anargyri in the Holy Metropolis of Maroneiatranslated

The Most Reverend Metropolitan of Maroneia and Komotini Mr. Panteleimon officiated at the Solemn Vespers held on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at the Holy Metropolitan Church of the Dormition of the Virgin Komotini, on the feast of Saints and Healers Cosmas and Damianos, as it is celebrated in bell tower of the Holy Chapel. On the day of the feast, Wednesday, July 1, 2026, His Eminence officiated at the celebratory Holy Chapel of the Agioi Anargyri Skalomos. In his speech, His Holiness referred to the Christ-like life of Saints Anargyro and their virtues, especially their practical and selfless love for their fellow human beings who are in pain and suffering, and called on the faithful to imitate the Saints and to minister with all our strength to fellow human beings in need.
