Appeal from the Metropolitan of Arusha for the renovation of a Primary School in Tanzaniatranslated

After the Consecration ceremony of the new drinking water well at the Holy Church of St. Stylianos, in the village of Kitisi in Central Tanzania, the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Arusha Mr. Agathonikos visited the Primary School of the area, responding to the teacher's request. The image he saw is particularly difficult. The roof of the school needs immediate repair, as when it rains water drips into the classrooms. At the same time, the school lacks basic infrastructure, such as doors and windows, while the premises need painting, desks and seats.
The Most Reverend Metropolitan of Arusha addresses the following appeal to all of us through the following video:
"We are in the village of Kitisi, where a while ago we performed the Consecration of the new water well, which we found with the help of the Brotherhood of the Orthodox Foreign Mission of Thessaloniki.
The school teacher asked us to visit the school. As you can see, our children are very poor and the school is in ruins. Water drips when it rains, it has no windows and no doors.
We are asking you, whoever wants to help, to renovate this school as well, as we have done in other schools here in the area.…
