Holy Vigil of Panagia Myrtidiotissa in Loutra Edipsostranslated

With particular splendor, on the evening of Wednesday, September 23, 2026, in the Holy Church of Agios Panteleimonos Loutra Edipsos, the Holy Vigil was held in honor of Our Blessed Virgin Mary and Immaculate Virgin Mary of Myrtidiotissa, in front of the exact copy of the miraculous Holy Icon of the Virgin Mary of Kythira, which it is kept as a precious spiritual treasure in the Holy Church. The Holy Vigil included the Great Solemn Vespers, the Holy Praises to the Most Holy Theotokos, the solemn Orthro and the Solemn Divine Liturgy.

At the same time, the Artoklasia was performed, while the blessing of the offered food and treats followed, which were offered as an expression of love, gratitude and philanthropy towards the people of God.

The Holy Vigil was performed by Protopresbyter Fr. Nikolaos Argyriou, Vicar of the Holy Church of Agios Panteleimonos Loutra Edipsos, and Protopresbyter Fr. Christos Ngelas.
