Circular of the Metropolitan of Mani Chrysostomos III for the Parishtranslated

The Reverend Metropolitan of Mani Chrysostomos III issued a circular to the clergy and the faithful about the Parish, in which he mentions its importance saying characteristically that "Parish means "Christ in our midst" and joining the body of Christ is the condition of salvation" His Holiness mentions, among other things, that "inside the Church, the Priest is a minister of the Most High, that is, he performs the Holy Masses and the Holy Mysteries. Outside the Church, the Priest acts as a shepherd among his parishioners and realizes in practice the love of Christ who, as the "Good Shepherd", cares for and protects the sheep of the Church's flock. But also the laity, every believer he must also be a conscientious parishioner. He cannot be a faithful Christian without his parish.
