Tasoulas to Christodoulidis: Greece committed to the goal of the reunification of Megalonistranslated

The President of the Republic, Konstantinos A. Tasoulas, on the occasion of his 66th anniversary on October 1, 2026, since the proclamation of the Republic of Cyprus, sent a letter to H.E. the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Mr. Nikos Christodoulidis, with warm congratulations and wishes for peace, progress and prosperity, on behalf of the Greek people and himself in person. Mr. Tasoulas in his letter emphasized that despite the deep wounds of the Turkish invasion, the territorial mutilation and the 52-year-long occupation, the Republic of Cyprus emerged not only as a prosperous state of the European Union but also as a pillar of peace, stability and development in the wider Eastern Mediterranean region.
