Trikkis Chrysostomos: "In the new church year, let's have more space for God and people"translated

The Most Reverend Metropolitan of Trikki, Gardiki and Pyli, Mr. Chrysostomos, on Thursday, September 17, 2026, in the morning, performed the Consecration service at the Offices of our Holy Metropolis at the beginning of the new ecclesiastical year. His Eminence sanctified and blessed the Priests and the employees of the local Church Offices and wished everyone health, strength and zeal so that we can serve the Church and the human factor in the best way.

He emphasized: "Every beginning is difficult..., but love makes it easier! Unity and above all true interpersonal relationships. Time without space in the heart is wasted. For this new ecclesiastical year, let's have more space for God and people."

His Eminence announced that, first, God, during the first weekend of October, when the local Church celebrates the Synod of Saints in Trikki, will ordain Subdeacon Vasilios Papagiannis as a Deacon and Elder, in the presence of a multitude of High Priests and Priests.
