During the convocation of the holy Godfathers Joachim and Annis, a feast during which Rev. Metropolitan of Lampi, Syvritos and Sfakion, Mr. Joakim, who due to the loss of two young children (firemen) from his Province due to recent deadly fires did not celebrate officially, the Bishop goes to Spili, praying at the Divine Liturgy performed by the celebrant Hierarch of the Church of Crete, in the I. Metropolitan Church of Agios Pavlos Spiliou, with the prayers of Rev. Metropolitan Lampis, Syvritou and Sfakion, Gerontos Irenaios and Rev. Metropolitan of Arkalochori, Kastelli and Viannos Mr. Andreou.

Rev. Metropolitan of Arkalochori, Kastelli and Viannos Mr. Andreas greeted and wished, on behalf of the concelebrated High Priests, to the Rev. Pastor Mr. Joachim, commemorating, with respect, his present predecessor, Rev. Metropolitan Elder of Lampi, Mr. Irenaios, conveying the wishes of our Bishop for "Polyfruitful and well-fruitful Pastoralism, fruitful before God in the historic Holy Metropolis of Lampi, Syvritos and Sfakion".
