Distribution of school bags by the Diocese of Arkalochoritranslated

The "Center for Solidarity and Social Cohesion" of the Holy Diocese of Arkalochori, Kastelli and Viannos, in view of the start of the new school year, under the care of Panos. Chief Agathangelos Giannarakis, Deputy President of the Center for Solidarity and Social Cohesion and Abbot of the Monastery of Agios Antonios Arvi, offered on Wednesday 16, Thursday 17 and Friday 18 September 2026, eight hundred and thirty six (836) school bags and school supplies to the students of the Primary Schools and Kindergartens of the Holy Metropolis. Specifically, Rev. Metropolitan Mr. Andreas together with the clergy of our Holy Diocese, distributed bags and school supplies to the 1st and 2nd Primary Schools of Arkalochori, the Primary Schools of Thrapsanou, Agioi Paraskion, Viannos, Kastelli and the Kindergartens of Kastri and Arkalochori.

The Holy Diocese expresses its warm thanks to all named and anonymous donors, who with their love and contribution contributed to the realization of the action and wishes all the students a good and blessed school year, with health, progress and creativity.
