Greek Red Cross: 10 simple instructions for protection from the heattranslated

With the mercury hitting red these days and the heat wave being felt in all regions of Greece, the Hellenic Red Cross (HEC) suggests 10 simple guidelines for protection from high temperatures, which can cause serious health problems, especially for high-risk groups such as the elderly and children.
The Hellenic Red Cross recommends:
Stay in a shady place Keep the house cool Stay hydrated Eat properly and adequately Stay in touch with family, friends and neighbors Dress lightly Avoid vigorous exercise and unnecessary movement Do not consume alcohol Take care of your pets Do not leave children or pets in unventilated cars
