The "Maximeo" Spiritual and Cultural Center of the Holy Metropolis of Serres is being renovatedtranslated

In an important intervention to upgrade its infrastructure and spaces, the Holy Metropolis of Serres and Nigritis is moving forward, with the radical renovation of its "MAXIMIO" Spiritual and Cultural Center, a life vision of the blessed Metropolitan Maximos (1984-2003), which was inaugurated in its original core, i.e. its first two floors, in November of the year 1998, by His Eminence the Archbishop of Athens and All Greece Christodoulos. Ten years later (2009), two more modern floors were added to the existing building, where the multi-thematic "MYRIOBIBLOS" Library, with 35,000 books and modern technological equipment, and the "ARCHBISHOP CHRISTODOULOS" official event hall are housed. The "MAXIMIO" Spiritual Center of the Serrai Church, a place that hosts children, young people and adults every day, through educational, musical, artistic and cultural activities, acquires a new, modern and more functional image and possibility.
