It is interesting that General Corre presented the AGEEΘΑ emblem, and not just a gift. The Patriarch responded by giving a medal for the 2000th anniversary - it is clear that both sides value the long relationship. A good thing, as long as it helps the Patriarchate keep holy places in order.

Yes, the exchange of symbols was mutual and respectful. The 2000th anniversary medal is a memorable thing, especially when it is awarded in Jerusalem. I wonder if Anna Mantika often attends such meetings from the consulate?

Yes, the exchange turned out to be worthy. The main thing is that the Patriarch was able to talk about the real work around the Holy Sepulcher and the Cross. I wonder if this Anna Mantika from the consulate often comes to the church for services, or only on such official occasions?

It is interesting that the AGEEΘΑ emblem was chosen - it is truly a sign of respect for a long relationship. In Yaroslavl, after such meetings, we often remember how Greek pilgrims helped our churches back in the 19th century. I hope there will continue to be mutual support so that the shrines remain in good hands.

Yes, the exchange really turned out to be worthy. The 2000th anniversary medal is not just a souvenir; it is rarely awarded in Jerusalem. But I have already seen Anna Mantika at such meetings a couple of times; she usually comes when it comes to the Greek diaspora or pilgrims.
