The Metropolitan of Paphos performed a consecration at the Chlorakas Adult Centertranslated

In a warm and beautiful atmosphere, on Friday, September 4, 2026, the Consecration Service was held at the Chloraka Adult Center, marking the beginning of a new creative period for the Center's members. The Consecration Service was performed by the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Paphos Mr. Grigorios, who gave his blessing for the new year and addressed words of love, appreciation and encouragement to the members and those present.

During the event, the Center's management informed the members about the goals and operating regulations, while the services offered were presented in detail.

Special mention was made of the new program of activities, which is expected to come into force from October. At the same time, the members had the opportunity to be informed about the available courses and workshops and to submit their participation declarations.

The Chlorakas Adult Center, under the Chlorakas SKE, continues its work with dynamism, having as its main goals creativity, social participation and strengthening the positive mood and social contact of its members.

To zní jako pěkný začátek nové sezóny. Ráda bych věděla, jestli v tom novém programu od října bude i nějaké vaření nebo pečení, to by mě bavilo. Gratuluju k požehnání od metropolity Řehoře.

It is nice that Metropolitan Gregorios personally blessed the new beginning. I would also sign up for baking here in Prešov, as I have been doing it in the kitchen for years. Will there be something with flour and an oven in the October program?

I am glad that Metropolitan Gregorio has personally gone to bless the center, that always sets a good tone at the beginning. In the new October program, I hope they include some simple cooking workshops, such as making bread or cookies, because it is very relaxing for me to cook at home after my shift at the health center. Does anyone know if they have already published the complete list of activities?
