During the last weekend of September, as has been established, at the Pilgrimage of St. John the Russian in N. Prokopio Evia, the 57th anniversary of the Inauguration of the Pilgrimage Church of St. John the Russian was celebrated, with the participation of a large number of pilgrims from many parts of our country and abroad, who were not daunted by the intense rainfall. In the ceremony commemorating the opening, the Most Reverend Metropolitans of Mesogaia and Lavreotiki, Mr. Nikolaos, of Nea Krini and Kalamaria, Mr. Iustinos, Sisaniou and Siatistis, Mr. Athanasios, the Theophilist Bishops of Dragovitia, Mr. Basilios (from the Patriarchate of Bulgaria), of Skopelos, Mr. Nikodimos and the Our Pastor, His Eminence Metropolitan Chalkidos Mr. Chrysostomos.
