Musical event for the 1700 years of the Holy Pilgrimage of Panagia Ekatontapylianis of Parostranslated

On the evening of Tuesday, September 15, 2026, a special musical event took place in the courtyard of the Holy Pilgrimage of Panagia Ekatontapylianis of Paros, as part of the anniversary events for the completion of 1700 years since the construction of the Holy Church. The ERT Contemporary Music Orchestra, under the musical direction of Chief Musician Mr. Stathis Soulis, presented a special musical program, with a tribute to the internationally awarded Greek composer Mr. Dimitris Katis, as well as works by the composer Mr. Giorgos Laimos.

The event was graced with the presence of the Most Reverend Pastor, Metropolitan of Paranaxia, Mr. Kallinikos, who addressed a greeting and spoke appropriately, referring to the importance of this anniversary event.

Also present were the Mayor of Paros, Mr. Costas Bizas, the Deputy Mayor of Culture, Mrs. Anna Kagani, Presidents of Communities, Presidents and representatives of Associations and institutions of the island, as well as a large number of people, who flooded the courtyard area of ​​the Holy Pilgrimage.

The musical event was co-organized by the Holy Pilgrimage of Panagia Ekatontapylianis, the Municipality of Paros and the South Aegean Region, constituting another important station in the program of the...
