Excursion of the Priests of the Diocese of Kalamariatranslated

About 70 Hierokids of the Holy Metropolis of Nea Krini and Kalamaria visited the uncritical and historical Holy Metropolis of Sidirokastro, as part of their annual Synaxis. The Hierokids were accompanied throughout the excursion by their Reverend Pastor Mr. Ioustinos, 4 Priests of the Metropolis, the Synagogue in charge, Deacon Theoklitos Kosmidis and the co-responsible Mr. Efstathios Garos, a Theology student.

The first stop of the pilgrimage was the historical Sidirokastro.

In the Holy Church of Evangelistria Sidirokastro, the children participated in the Divine Liturgy, in which the Most Reverend Metropolitan Mr. Makarios officiated and Elders and Deacons of the local Holy Metropolis also officiated.

Before the end of the Divine Liturgy, the familiar pastor, Mr. Makarios, welcomed Metropolitan Mr. Ioustinos and his entourage with warm words.

Addressing the Hieropides, he presented in a simple and persuasive way the history of the place and his Metropolis and indoctrinated them with paternal love and wisdom in the Mystery of the Church.
