The former Exarch of the Holy Sepulcher in Greece, Archimandrite Raphael Grivas, assumes new duties as after his ministry in Jordan the Zionist Church sends him to minister in the Basilica of the Nativity in Bethlehem. Specifically, during the meeting of the Holy and Sacred Synod of the Patriarchate of Jerusalem on Thursday, August 13, among other things, it was decided to appoint Archimandrite Raphael as the Guardian of the Church of the Royal Nativity in Bethlehem.

Among the remaining appointments stand out those of Archimandrite Dionysios who takes over as Abbot of the Monastery of Agios Georgios in Lydda and Archimandrite Markellos who takes over as Abbot of the Holy Monastery of the Transfiguration of the Savior on Mount Tabor.
Also, Archimandrite Simeon was appointed as the representative of the Patriarchate of Jerusalem in the General Secretariat of Orthodox Youth in Jordan.
