"When Christ found that the people listening to His word had nothing to eat, He called the disciples, blessed the five loaves and the two fish and told them to distribute them to everyone. And they ate 5 thousand men besides women and children. Christ blessed our food and blesses it today. In our childhood memory remains that image where the family is around a table and Christ blesses it. Truth! How many families today have this experience of being around the table, praying and praising God and thanking Him for the food? How many families also share their food with others? How much we have lost this joy around the table of a family blessed by God. We live this family every Sunday at the Divine Liturgy by partaking of the Body and Blood of Christ. May the families be in our homeland today as Christ wants. We need these families".
