High Priest Vespers of the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross at the Monastery of Dovrastranslated

On Sunday, September 13, in the evening, in the Holy Church of Agios Loukas Symferoupolis the Physician, in the Holy Monastery of Panagia Dobra Veroia, the High Priestly Vespers of the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross was celebrated by the Theophilist Bishop Domenikos Mr. Athenagoros, Professor of the Holy Monastery. The divine word was preached by the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Berea, Nausis and Campania Mr. Panteleimon.

During the Vespers, a piece of the Holy Wood from the Cross of our Lord, along with Holy Relics of Saints Constantine and Helen and Holy Stones from the Awful Calvary and the Holy Sepulcher, which are treasured in the Holy Monastery, were placed in veneration.

His Excellency's Speech:

"Look, all the nations, let us worship the blessed wood, through which eternal justice is done."

With these words, a little while ago the holy hymn writer called "all the nations", and among them us, to worship the blessed wood, the Cross of our Lord, through which, as he says, "eternal justice" became.
