I.M.M. Vatopediou helper of the Camps of Pieriatranslated

The Holy Great Monastery of Vatopedi on Mount Athos, responding once again with love and sensitivity to the needs of the Holy Metropolis of Kitros, Katerinis and Platamonos, offered a large amount of food to strengthen its diverse social and pastoral work. Of particular importance is this valuable offer for the action "Camp in the city", which takes place again this year during the summer months, hosting hundreds of children from the Catechetical Synagogues of the local Church. The food provided will essentially contribute to meeting the needs of the camp, so that the children can experience days of creative employment, spiritual cultivation, entertainment and Christian fellowship.

At the same time, part of the offer will strengthen the program of hosting orphaned children and young people from Orthodox countries in the complex of Ecclesiastical Institutions of the Holy Metropolis of Kitros in Svoronos, the Camps of GEHA Katerinis in Vronto and GEHA Larissa in Paralia Skotina, confirming the long-term support of the Holy Great Monastery of Vatopedi to the social work of the local Church.
