Patriarch of Antioch from Rome: Stop the attacks in southern Lebanontranslated

The timeless role and great contribution of Lebanon to the East was pointed out by the Patriarch of Antioch and all the East, Mr. John I' from the embassy residence in Rome where he had a meeting with the Lebanese Ambassador, Carla Jazar. His Beatitude, as part of his visit to Italy after the contacts in the Vatican, visited the Embassy of Lebanon and spoke with the Ambassador and the staff who work at the Embassy.

The Primate of the Church in Antioch particularly emphasized the unity that should exist so that the people of Lebanon can overcome the difficulties they have been facing for years. At the same time, during the meeting emphasis was placed on government initiatives to create a clear stabilization program in the country of cedars that will bring prosperity to the people.

The Patriarch Mr. Ioannis from Italy and the Lebanese embassy once again called for an end to the attacks against the southern part of the country.

For her part, Mrs. Jazar thanked His Beatitude for his visit while welcoming the positions of the Church of Antioch for both Lebanon and the general situation in the world.
